re-envelope

a card with nine lives? great! but what about the envelope? it wouldn't make much sense to give a bunch of envelopes every time you needed to give a re-usable greeting card. here are a few suggestions to consider when re-carding:

1) re-use. take the envelope you received with the nine lives card, or one from your mail, insert the nine lives card and reseal it with a piece of paper and tape.
2) be creative. denvercraft makes envelopes out of used over-sized yellow business envelopes and paper bags (wine bags work perfectly, if you're still brown bagging), or grab a magazine or newspaper out of your recycling bin. you'll need to seal the envelope either with a needle and thread (denvercraft style) or with some adhesive. 3) reduce. don't use an envelope at all! naked gifts and cards are better for the environment than recycling. nine lives cards are intended to be "nice looking" so they shouldn't need a wrap-around.
